Conceptually, an exploration of urban design and dramatic shifts in environments between city and nature. This painting is developed from walks done throughout the seasons during Covid-19, living in Laval. Laval is an interesting place to live in that my home is a puzzle map of scattered farms combined with new urban planning. This space depicts urban design and nature, the shifts between summer greenery to packing up for the winter (ex. wrapping up the trees with tarp, piling up wood and setting up the greenhouses/storage units). If you look closely, you might spot the bird!
