The art exhibition, ‘’Ribboned Rainbow’’ is the launch of the Jano Lapin Gallery & Studios at 3819 Wellington, Verdun, QC H4G 1V1. The space features 14 distinct visual artist studios, a shared creative space of discussion, and an exhibition room for the gallerist. Jano Lapin Gallery plans to host group and solo exhibitions in the upcoming year, which will primarily feature Canadian contemporary artists located in Montreal.
In its first art exhibition, we gather 23 impressive and diverse local artists. We did not wish to impose specific themes or ideas but celebrate these artists’ works with sincerity as we open our doors for the first time.
During this challenging year, the value of art has proven to be primordial for our well-being, connectedness, and community. Curated by the gallery owner, Anne Janody, and visual artist, Jose Garcia, “Ribonned Rainbow,” wants to recognize how each artist inspires us with a window towards a different ideology, quest, state of mind, and feelings. Jano Lapin brings all of these pieces together, revels in their alliance yet their distinct nature, thus bringing you to a unique experience.
The exhibit will be available to view online at JanoLapinGallery.com as of December 11th 2020, as well as physically on appointment until February 20th 2021, while respecting the provincial regulations in place.

“Arc-en-ciel rubané”
L’exposition d’art, «Arc-en-ciel rubané», est le lancement de la Galerie Jano Lapin et studios au 3819 Wellington, Verdun, QC H4G 1V1. L’espace comprend 14 studios d’artistes visuels distincts, un espace créatif partagé de discussion et une salle d’exposition pour la galeriste. La galerie Jano Lapin prévoit d’accueillir des expositions collectives et individuelles au cours de la prochaine année, qui mettront principalement en vedette des artistes contemporains canadiens situés à Montréal.
Dans sa première exposition d’art, nous rassemblons 23 artistes locaux impressionnants et diversifiés. Nous n’avons pas voulu imposer des thèmes ou des idées spécifiques mais simplement célébrer les œuvres de ces artistes avec sincérité en ouvrant nos portes pour la première fois.
Au cours de cette année difficile, la valeur de l’art s’est avérée primordiale pour notre bien-être, notre connectivité et notre communauté. Organisé par la galeriste propriétaire Anne Janody et l’artiste visuel, Jose Garcia, “Arc-en-ciel rubané” veut reconnaître comment chaque artiste nous inspire avec une fenêtre vers une idéologie, une quête, un état d’esprit et des sentiments différents. Jano Lapin rassemble toutes ces pièces, se délecte de leur alliance mais de leur nature distincte, vous amenant ainsi à une expérience unique.
L’exposition pourra être consultée en ligne sur JanoLapinGallery.com à partir du 11 décembre, ainsi que physiquement sur rendez-vous jusqu’au 29 janvier 2021, tout en respectant les règlements provinciaux en vigueur.
